Robotic palletizers

They can be installed in small spaces and/or deliver higher performance than traditional machines.

The versatility of the robot also allows multiple operations on different production lines.

Generally used with packs fed in at low level (800 – 1200 mm), they can also be installed on platforms for top pack infeed (from 2000 to over 3500 mm).

Packs can be fed in on 1, 2 or 3 lanes.

A row-forming area, fitted with a step-by-step belt and pack turning, creates the row pattern or even the complete layer.

Additional robots can also be used for row / layer forming, for particular speed requirements and/or pack types (very small and/or unstable).

Various types of gripping heads are available, depending on production speed and product type:

• single or double row gripping head, with side flaps or fork
• full-layer gripping head, with double fork
• vacuum head

The machine can be supplied with different levels of automation and accessories, depending on the production speed:

• with pallet placed on the floor and manual placing of tier sheets
• with motorized pallet infeed and outfeed conveyors
• with automatic empty pallet destacker
• with automatic tier sheet placing system

Process automation drastically reduces the need for manpower, improves operator safety and increases overall productivity, ensuring a faster and steadier flow of packs.

The modular design of the machine allows different layout configurations, according to the positioning requirements on the line.

Production capacity: up to over 6 layers / min, depending on the type of packs handled and the machine’s level of automation.
