Top-infeed Cartesian palletizers

Full-layer palletizing system, with packs fed in at high level (from 2000 to over 3500 mm).

Packs can be fed in on 1, 2 or 3 lanes.

A row-forming area, fitted with a step-by-step belt and pack turning, creates the layer pattern.

Robots can also be used for row / layer forming, for particular speed requirements and/or pack types (very small and/or unstable).

A pusher transfers the layer into the palletizer head.

A drawer-type head, holding the layer on all 4 sides, is mounted on a carriage that moves up and down on guides fitted to a 2-column structure, so that the layers can be placed on the pallet.

Also available in a version with the pallet on a lift and the head in a fixed position, for high production speeds.

The machine can be supplied with different levels of automation and accessories, depending on the production speed:

• with automatic tier sheet placing system
• with automatic tier sheet stack feeding system
• with automatic empty pallet destacker
• with automatic feeding of empty pallet stacks

Process automation drastically reduces the need for manpower, improves operator safety and increases overall productivity, ensuring a faster and steadier flow of packs.

The modular design of the machine allows different layout configurations, according to the positioning requirements on the line.

Production capacity: up to approx. 4 layers / min – fixed-pallet machine, up to approx. 5 layers / min – moving-pallet machine, depending on the type of packs handled and the machine’s level of automation.
